HEALTH FAIRS AND PRESENTATIONS

We educate people about prevention of kidney disease, awareness of early symptoms, and intervention strategies.

How can I get involved?

We need both health professional and non-health professional volunteers that represent all population groups. Volunteers may distribute brochures and talk to health fair visitors about kidney disease, and the KFNWO. Also, at some of the fairs we perform blood pressure checks using an automatic inflatable cuff and a machine that displays blood pressure results. We can provide training at our office on the brochures and how to perform and interpret the blood pressure checks.

If you are interested in being trained as a volunteer for a health fair in your area or if you are interested in having a KFNWO representative speak to your group or exhibit at an upcoming health fair, please email us at info@kfnwo.org.
