On March 29th, 2025, Northern Lights Masonic Lodge #40 held its 27th Annual Pancake Breakfast to benefit the Kidney Foundation of Northwest Ohio (KFNWO). The event featured an all-you-can-eat breakfast with eggs, pancakes, grits, and breakfast meat, along with a silent auction. We want to thank the nearly 400 community members who attended. It was heart-warming to see lines stretching around the corner, showcasing the community’s support for the cause.
KFNWO is entirely donor-supported, with all funds raised staying within our 20-county service area in Northwest Ohio. Proceeds are used to assist individuals with chronic kidney disease in our community by providing transportation, nutritional supplements, medications, and durable medical equipment. We are also focusing on education, prevention, and support, which includes a free mobile community health screening program, chronic kidney disease management classes, support groups, and the promotion of organ donation.
Additionally, we want to extend a special thank you to Doug and Sally Towslee and all the volunteers at the Northern Lights Masonic Lodge in Maumee for making this event such a success. This gathering would not be possible without your generous efforts and kindness.
