KFNWO Board Sets New Strategic Direction
The Kidney Foundation’s Board of Directors had a full day retreat in November to develop a three-year strategic plan for the organization.

“The board remains committed to providing financial assistance to dialysis patients in need, said Kelly Mofield, executive director. “However, we will focus future expansion efforts on kidney health and prevention of end stage renal disease through education, screenings and prevention efforts.

The board and staff are currently completing action plans for it three focus areas: mission effectiveness, marketing/public awareness and financial stability. A greatly expanded website, a support group for kidney patients and a kidney disease education class are all in the works for 2025.
