KFNWO at Leading Families Home

On July 31st, the Kidney Foundation of Northwest Ohio (KFNWO), in collaboration with Mercy Health Nurses and the UToledo College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, conducted blood pressure, glucose, and A1C screenings at the Leading Families Home (LFH) facility located on Ashland Avenue in the Old West End of Toledo.

KFNWO is proud to partner with the University of Toledo College of Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences, and CareNet, to empower the local community to take charge of their health. Free On-Site Health Screenings - We'll be providing blood pressure, glucose, and A1C tests to help identify risk factors for chronic kidney disease — right there on the spot.

KFNWO at Rock the Block

On June 28th, as a part of the Rock the Block in the Old South End coordinated by the Maumee Valley Habitat for Humanity, our Community Outreach Coordinator joined a group of volunteers that braved the heat to landscape three homes. Together, they beautified the Old South End neighborhood and brought some joy and pride to the homeowners they helped.

2nd Annual Homeownership Fair

On June 21st, the Kidney Foundation of Northwest Ohio, in partnership with our colleagues at UToledo College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, conducted A1C, glucose, and blood pressure screenings at the City of Toledo's 2nd Annual Homeownership Fair at Jesup Wakeman Scott High School in Toledo’s Old West End.
