Lucas County Senior Expo

On September 16, the Kidney Foundation of Northwest Ohio had the privilege of partnering with the University of Toledo College of Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences Dept. at the Lucas County Senior Expo to provide blood pressure, blood glucose, and A1C screenings to the seniors who attended.

This event was among one of our most heavily attended and successful events, as we were able to provide screening services to 53 members who attended this event!

We would like to thank the volunteers at the University of Toledo College of Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences Dept.  for performing these vital services and the coordinators at the event for welcoming us in and providing the space to offer these services. We are grateful for the opportunity to serve our community and contribute to early detection and prevention efforts that can truly change lives.
