Williams County Senior Health Expo

On September 30th, the Kidney Foundation of Northwest Ohio had the privilege of partnering with the University of Toledo College of Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences Dept. at the Lucas County Senior Expo to offer blood pressure, glucose, and A1C screenings to seniors.

This was one of our best-attended events, providing these vital screening services to 49 Williams County members.

We would like to thank the volunteers at the University of Toledo College of Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences Dept.  for performing these vital services and the coordinators at the Williams County Senior event for welcoming us in and providing the space to offer these services. We are grateful for the opportunity to serve our community and contribute to early detection and prevention efforts that can truly change lives.
