We’re rolling up our sleeves and joining neighbors, volunteers, and local organizations for a day of community pride and action. We are excited to help beautify the neighborhood—painting, planting, and making a visible difference in Toledo's Old South End.

We’re proud to partner with the University of Toledo College of Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences at this year’s Black Men’s Wellness Day — a powerful community event focused on empowering Black men to take charge of their health.

The Kidney Foundation of Northwest Ohio will be at the Main Library on Tuesday, June 24 from 10 AM to 2 PM for a special UToledo Health + wellness takeover!

On April 22, 2025, our community outreach coordinator, Paul Viafranco, was at Sofia Quintero Arts and Cultural Center's women's health fair with our partners at UToledo College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, performing A1C, glucose, and blood pressure screenings.

Due to staff taking time off for the Easter holiday, this month’s KFNWO support group will not be held this Thursday. We look forward to joining our partners at the Scott Center for next month’s event on Thursday, May 15th.

On March 29th, 2025, Northern Lights Masonic Lodge #40 held its 27th Annual Pancake Breakfast to benefit the Kidney Foundation of Northwest Ohio (KFNWO). The event featured an all-you-can-eat breakfast with eggs, pancakes, grits, and breakfast meat, along with a silent auction.
